Hello All! Just a short update, once again... The March Finale for Maritime Idol took place this past Saturday. While I did not place in the top 3, I still put on a strong performance (considering I had little time to really prepare for this). I also received positive critiques with the judges.



Efforts are being made to prepare to record some cover-song demos to be placed here on this site. I also need to find the time to start the "press" section. Hopefully soon!



I also want to send congratulations to my friend, Michelle Thibodeau, for winning second place in the March Month End. She's a wonderful young singer with a bright future ahead of her. Stay tuned as I will be announcing the link to her own music website (that I am creating).

Hello Everyone!



Just a short update... I will be creating a new section to the site called "Press" which will house articles that mention me musically. Most recently, there is an article that appeared in the Moncton Times & Transcript where I was mentionned as Maritime Idol's March Competition's 4th winner. The partial article is found here. Things are really heating up since the Month End Finale for March is already this Saturday. My songs are ready, I just need to go shopping for a new outfit. LOL!



I will also be uploading some .wma files of some of my best songs from the Maritime Idol competition, and very soon I'll have some demo cover songs. Stay tuned for further updates on that.



The writing is still ongoing. My hopes are still set on the fall to begin recording. I hope to be able to share with you some samples of these songs in the near future.

Maritime Idol is back in Moncton and I am competing once again. Sunday was the first round of competition and I would have to say I did well.



Now it's up to you, the visitors, to go and vote. It's pretty simple how the procedure works. First, visit Maritime Idol website. To buy votes, you can either a) purchase a yearly membership which allows you to vote as much as you want and for anyone in any city. This is your best value for sure or b) you can purchase individual votes.



Why do you need to "buy" votes? There are two reason for this. First reason is economics. Maritime Idol is in fact a company and to run a competition of this size, funds are needed. The other reason is to make it as fair as possible, so that no one just sits there and votes for one person numerous times. It makes sense, and really, for a $2 vote for your favourite, it's worth it. You need a credit card or you need a paypal account. If you are not from Canada, $2 is equal to about $1.80 USD right now.



So after you buy your membership or your vote, MI sends you a confirmation via email with your login & password. Then you will be all set. This process takes about 2 days.



For the next 4 Sundays (including the one that passed), singers from the Moncton area will compete to secure a spot in the Month-End finale (which will include Mirimichi, Halifax and Moncton). There will be one winner from each week and a producer's pick. The top two winners from the Month-End will move on to the Year-End Finale with a chance to win a recording contract.



My biggest dream is to be able to record an album and this might be just what is needed for that to happen. But I can't do it without your help. So if you are local to the Moncton area, then please pop by at Yuk Yuk's Comedy Lounge (inside the Crown Plaza) on Sunday nights. Show starts at 6:30pm. If you are not local, then please vote online.



Voting starts on every Tuesday until Friday or Saturday. Once a person wins a week, then you cannot vote for them again as they have secured their spot in the Month-End.



Sound easy enough? Good! I thought so! So go sign up today for your membership or your vote, and be ready to vote on Tuesday!

Hello All!


I hope the New Year is treating you all well. Inspiration wise, it's been treating me well. I'm just about finish putting music to about 5 of my songs and they are sounding good. This means that there's a high possibility that I'll be hitting the studio this Fall to record the EP. Stay tuned for updates.

Happy Holidays to you all! Here's to a fantastic 2007!!


The New Year will be a great one because it's the year I will release my debut CD. I've been working harder than ever vocally and been working again on the piano.


I expect to enter the studio sometime in the late spring and am aiming for a December 2007 release.


As demos are recorded, they will be added to the site.


Thanks for all of your support during 2006. I really appreciate it more than you'll ever know. I look forward to completing one of my biggest dream projects and sharing it with you all.
